Custody, visitation, parenting plan mediation designed to meet the needs of the children and families.
Mediation will be arranged on an hourly basis – initial mediation for a minimum of two hours. Successful mediation may include a written agreement for use of the parties.
Mediation will occur in a secure setting at KIDSAFE CT, 19 Elm Street, Rockville, CT. Appointments may be arranged in the evening.

Susan Lee Heintz, JD, CWLS
Susan obtained a BA from American University in Washington, D.C. She earned her juris doctor (law degree)
from the University of Maryland Law School. She is licensed to practice law in the states of Connecticut, Maryland, and in Washington, D.C. She is certified as a child welfare law specialist in the State of Connecticut and has been trained as a guardian ad litem. She has extensive experience regarding conflict resolution for families including work with children, adolescents and adults in crisis. She also has expertise assisting persons with disabilities and persons struggling with addictions.
Susan has over 30 years experience working with families and the community which serves them including work with Superior Court, Probate Court, Housing Court, the Department of Children & Families, Foster Care services, and Statewide Community Resources. She has collaborated for many years with Kidsafe CT on behalf of parents and children. She is pleased to work with Kidsafe CT in a mediation program.
