Family/Couples/Individual Counseling
Services
Our mission is to help families succeed.
Whether we are working with the entire family, a couple or an
individual the goal is to create a game plan that offers
solutions for ultimate success. We aim to provide
appropriate consultation, direction, simple solutions and access
to information and services in order for the individual to make
progress and address the issues on a level that one is capable
of. Essentially, people deal with so many different
challenges and face so many issues today that at times, we all
may need a little help figuring things out. For example,
we work with blended family challenges, foster care family
challenges, aging parent care issues, adjustments at school for
children, issues for children in foster care, youth and adult
anger, parenting issues, marriage or divorce related problems,
communications issues at all levels and across generations.
We will always focus on the positive, what is going right and
capitalize on strengths while addressing development
opportunities.

Youth Programs
KIDSAFE CT
has developed an After School Drop-In Center and Mentoring
Program for at-risk high school and middle school students in
Vernon/Rockville. This program allows us to deal directly
with young people affected by abuse and living in dysfunctional
families. Many of these young people do not want to go
home after school and are happy to spend time at the Center.
This program has been so successful in providing a safe
environment without drugs and gang activity that we have been
commended by the local police and are welcomed in the Middle
School as a resource for these youth during the school day.
In addition to the drop-in center, we also are providing
one-on-one mentors for youth in foster homes throughout the
area. CONTACT
